
Prof Janos Martonyi was teaching at various law schools/universities (Budapest, Bruges, Natolin) and is now the Head of the Institute for International Private and Trade Law at the University of Szeged. Minister for Foreign Affairs of Hungary between 1998 and 2002, since then Managing Partner of the law firm Martonyi és Kajtár Baker & McKenzie, he is involved in various European projects (Member of the Executive Board of the Centre for European Studies, Bruxelles, Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, Member of ACED or "Amato Group", etc.). Author of numerous studies and essays on European integration, international trade law, European law and international relations.
Peter Szabadhegy is a private equity investor, overseeing own companies' business operations as non-executive board member. Between 1997 and 2004 he was the Regional Managing Partner of Deloitte & Touche in Central Europe. He took lead responsibility for the development and roll-out of Deloitte's 3-year strategic plan for its newly integrated Central Eastern European (CEE) Partnership (100 Partners) covering 17 countries. He headed Deloitte's Financial Services Industry practice across CEE, responsible for sales/marketing (cross-selling) of all services provided to financial institutions - a $35 million practice. Previously he was the Manager and Vice President of Chemical Bank in NYC.
