Janos Csak   -   Chairman

Janos Csak is a consultant and private equity investor. His advisory practice includes corporate finance and strategy, and organisational capabilities. In 1999-2000, he served as Chairman of the Board of MOL, the Hungarian oil and gas company. Under his leadership MOL reshaped the landscape in the Central and Eastern European oil and gas industry by managing a comprehensive operations and management restructuring, and an upstream and downstream M&A program. As a result MOL group became a top quartile financial and operating performance enterprise. He held a number of Board positions including T-mobile Hungary, Creditanstalt Investment Bank, GE Money Bank Hungary and Semmelweis Medical University. He earned his MA in Finance and Sociology at the Corvinus University of Economics (Hungary), completed the Executive Program at the University of Michigan Business School and the Challenge of Leadership Program at INSEAD.

Paul Domjan

Paul Domjan is the director of John Howell & Co, a London-based consultant company. In 2006, he served as the first Energy Security Advisor to the US European Command where he developed an energy security strategy for the US European Command for Europe, Eurasia, and Africa. Prior to this appointment, Mr. Domjan was deputy political analyst in the scenario planning group at Royal Dutch/Shell, where he was responsible for political issues in Europe, Eurasia, the Middle East, and North America. He has consulted on supplier development in the oil and gas industry for the World Bank. He is now an advisor on these issues to the National Bank of Kazakhstan. Mr. Domjan is currently the Energy Fellow at the Stockholm Network, the leading pan-European think tank and market oriented network, and a British Marshall Scholar at Wolfson College, University of Oxford with a specialty in the political and economic geography of oil and gas producing countries.
