Lately I have noticed that I gained weight. My beloved pair of jeans were extremely tight, instead of loose. My cheecks rounded. My belly was not so flat as earlier. I was aware that I have to do something with it. I didn’t want this to get worst. However, I already knew that I will not be able to give up tasty food. I love food and I actually think that my life with no tasty meals will not be quite happy. I cannot be on diet. I just can’t. Thus, I was aware that instead of diet, I have to focus on something else – doing sport.
Nonetheless, it was not such an easy decision. I didn’t really know what kind of sport would be best for me. I was playing volleyball and basketball when I was younger, but I didn’t love it. Now, I was hoping to find something I would love so every training could be a real pleasure, not a commitment. I was hoping to get inspired by one of my friends or family members. Most of them were doing some sports. Thus, I was conviced it would be easy to choose a discipline for me.

Tons of of my friends like running. I need to admit that I am pretty jealous when I was watching them finishing marathons. Nonetheless, it looks a bit too tiring for me. I like watching people running, but when I want to do it myself, this is not so funny anymore. I did that this Wendesday and I just felt that I will not love running. My close friend was trying to convince me for swimming. I know how to swim. I was doing it a lot when I was child. Nevertheless, I think that I may be a bit too old for this already. I obviously, don’t mean swimming. Nevertheless, all of those things strictly connected with it – you have to dry your hair after swimming, you gotta take your time to go and come back from the swimming pool as it is not located in every district. I know this may sound like exaggerating, but I just felt I have to keep on looking for some other sport.
Afterward, when I was still looking for something inspiring, I saw an ordinary guy on custom fixie bike. I really liked this! It was so amazing and fashionable. I decided to give this a try. At first I rent a bike for a few days, just to make sure it will be a sport I would like to do regularly. When I notice that I love this sport, I decided to buy my ladies city bike. I started to be so passionate about cycling, that I not just lost weight, by also was able to convince my my partner to purchase 1 of those trendy mens city bike too. Presently, frequently we do many around the city on our bikes. We are entirely fit couple!
